Core Academic Programs

For Bancroft students in K4/K5 classes, the Kindergarten Movement Program develops basic fine and gross motor movement skills, musical awareness through dance, self-expression, creativity and sportsmanship. Our program helps to create a foundation for athletic movement within a positive environment that promotes team-building and social skills.

Bancroft School provides extra help for students who are struggling academically. Sometimes a student has specific learning challenges that require the help of our resource support team of teachers, special education technicians and professional staff. Together they can help diagnose the problem areas and create an individualized education plan for the student in need.

The aim of the Physical Education and Health program at Bancroft is to help our students to develop the skills, knowledge, and values needed to establish and enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle. Speaking two languages each day encourages the growth and understanding of a second language during the most important learning years of life.
